Why is it necessary to “campaign” for Barak Obama HERE of all places? The reason a gay man comes here is to be entertained, not hustled. Do you realize how many gay men are not democrats? Come on, clean this up, and don’t make this a partisan blog.
Well, thank you for your comment. The fact that you decided to register as a user here, and comment, is a good thing and it is perhaps telling that it took this to persuade you to do it?
‘HERE of all places?’ This blog has often made it’s views known on a variety of issues and will continue to do so.
You also appear to speak for the ‘gay man’? I would counter that ‘gay men’ come here for a variety of reasons. This blog has long carried editorials and also news stories, so by all means speak for yourself, but do not tell me what ‘gay men’ want.
On a blogging and adult website note… (not one of the major campaign subjects I know), the Republicans have a less than impressive record on allowing freedom of the internet, and for the persecution of gay and adult websites. So again, I feel this is an ideal chance to make the point.
Gay men…. Republicans? The word oxymoron comes to mind. Whilst I realize that some people will always vote and make decisions based solely on their wallets, generally I would have thought that ‘gay men’ would feel the issues of human rights and freedoms to be of greater importance?
‘Clean this up’? ‘Don’t make this a partisan blog’?
With the greatest of respect, this IS a blog. This IS a partisan blog… This blog is written, edited, produced and owned by Breederboy.Com. That is the party. We decide the content, and you, the readers, decide if you want to read it, be ‘entertained’ by it or whatever.
Judging by our daily hits, you appear to be happy to read it.
Whilst America votes at the polls, you are quite entitled to vote with your mouse
Please note that I have not simply wiped this off. I have posted your comment in it’s entirety as I am interested to read your opinion which you are free to air on here…..just as I am free to blog mine.
I can very accurately tell you what gay men want, since I am one and know many who feel and think the same way I do. You should perhaps “get out” more if the words “gay men….Republicans” brings you to the word OXYMORON…and human rights and freedoms are of the essential importance when someone chooses conservatism over liberalism. Once you choose liberalism, you become a “prisoner” to it, you can only abide by it, and any alternate of it becomes forbidden. It takes no commitment, and is the “easy” way out.
Yes, perhaps HERE I did vote with my mouse, but this election I did not just vote with my mouse. I voted over a month ago, by absentee ballot, stationed in an area of the world where people can only dream of having the voice in their governing process that you and I have. Unfortunately, their governments have already gone by the wayside of liberal, one sided thinking, and their leaders have also enslaved their people, in the same way the left in the US is desperately trying to enslave us.
You see, there you go again, you can very well tell me what (some) gay men want, not us all. Liberalism is not a ‘prison’, more a view of life, the world and those in it I feel. No commitment? I really don’t get that one I’m afraid. I am committed to trying to make the lives of all people that little bit better. I’m committed to fairness for all over the pure pursuit of profit. ‘Easy’? I don’t think so. I think that it’s far easier to adopt a ‘me, me, me’ attitude to life.
The left trying to enslave you? Please.. and the right, with it’s god-breathing, bible-pushing, moralistic anti-gay bashers seek to do what exactly?
Fortunately, this may well be academic within a few short hours. Watching CNN live right now, the results are looking more than good for Obama so we will get the chance to SEE which of us is right. Not by the result of the election, but by what happens afterwards. I truly hope that Obama is elected. I truly hope that he manages to sort out the economy (which does affect us all internationally), and let’s be fair, he surely cannot do much worse with the economy that his predecessor? I truly hope that he can work with all sides to improve America’s standing abroad, which is at an all-time low.
